“A cool, clean apartment in the perfect location!”
Myself and 3 friends stayed in Tortinho White for 1 week, in June 2014 and what a great week it was! Rita the owner welcomed us when we arrived. She kindly told us to get in touch with her if we had any questions however we had no problems at all throughout the week. The apartment is simple and clean and had everything we needed (especially great air conditioning)! Comfortable beds, a powerful shower, wifi, a dining table, television (not that we used it), everything was spot on.
The location of the apartment could not have been more perfect - less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and because Cascais is quite a small town, everything else was within walking distance (supermarket, train station etc.). The train links to Lisbon are easy, we visited the city twice during the week. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in town - we can happily recommend cafe Bijou, where we drank coffee and ate pastries every morning! and Santinis ice cream might be the best in town...
We would definitely go back to Tortinho White, Cascais for a relaxed week in the Portuguese sunshine! The seaside town has small but beautiful beaches, friendly people, good food and easy links to other areas of Portugal. Thank you Rita for a fantastic stay, we hope to see you again soon!
